GRINSPOON FOUNDATION HONORS
SCHOOL OF BUSINESS ENTREPRENEURS

For Western New England College students with a penchant for
entrepreneurship, it’s never too early to launch the “Big Idea.” In
fact, graduating seniors Roger Roberge and Steve Nasiatka have not only been running successful business ventures while full-time students, they have been turning a profit. That brand of ingenuity and has made them among the first students from 12 local colleges to be recognized at the inaugural Entrepreneurship Initiative Banquet sponsored by the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation. On April 29, 2004, Roberge and Nasiatka, along with 25 college students from western Massachusetts, were awarded grants to help bolster their burgeoning businesses. Nasiatka was also one of several students chosen to make an “Elevator Pitch” to a panel of local bankers to garner additional funding.
